Before you send

Four things worth thirty seconds

Most swaps that go wrong go wrong before the deposit is even sent. These are the checks that actually prevent losses, in the order they matter.

Check one

The chain, not just the ticker

USDT exists on Ethereum, Tron, BNB Chain, Solana and a dozen more. They share a name and nothing else. Bitzood asks you to pick the coin first and the network second so the two decisions never blur together.

Check two

The address belongs to that chain

An address that starts with T is Tron. One starting 0x is Ethereum or an EVM chain. If your receiving address does not look like the network you selected, stop and re-read it.

Check three

A memo or tag, if the coin needs one

XRP, TON and a handful of others route deposits using a second field. Sending without it usually means a slow support ticket at the other end rather than an instant credit.

Check four

The amount clears the minimum

Every pair has a floor, set by what it costs to move the coin on-chain. Deposits underneath it cannot be processed economically, so the widget shows the minimum for your exact pair before you commit.

How it runs

What happens after you press the button

A swap is a sequence, and each stage waits on the one before it. Knowing which stage you are in explains almost every question about timing.

DEPOSIT GENERATED FOR THIS SWAP ALONE
Stage 01

You get a deposit address

The address is generated for your swap alone and expires. Send the quoted amount from any wallet you control — there is no login, and nothing to verify first.

CONFIRMED PENDING
Stage 02

The network confirms your deposit

This is the slow part and it belongs to the blockchain, not to us. Bitcoin can take twenty minutes; Solana and Tron are usually done in under one.

LIQUIDITY
Stage 03

The exchange executes

Liquidity is sourced and the conversion happens. On a floating rate this is the moment your final amount is decided; on a fixed rate it was decided when you accepted the quote.

WALLET BROADCAST ON CHAIN
Stage 04

Your payout is broadcast

The coins are sent to the address you gave, on the network you chose. From there it is an ordinary transaction you can follow in any block explorer.

Rates

Two ways to price the same swap

Neither is a trick. You are choosing who carries the risk of the market moving while your deposit confirms.

Floating

Better price, decided later

settles here Price keeps moving until your deposit confirms

The final amount is calculated at the moment your deposit confirms. If the market moves your way you keep the difference; if it moves against you, you absorb it. Because nobody is insuring you against that swing, the quoted rate is usually the better of the two. Sensible for calm markets and fast chains.

Fixed

Known price, slightly wider

locked window You accept a number and that number holds

The number you see is locked for a short window, and you receive exactly that regardless of what the market does while your transaction confirms. That certainty has a cost, so the quote sits a little below the floating one. Worth it on volatile days, or when you are paying an exact invoice.

What you pay

Everything is in the quote

What lands in your wallet Network fees Conversion spread Bitzood margin

Proportions are illustrative — the real split depends on the pair and how busy the chains are. Whatever it works out to, it is already inside the quote before you commit.

Deposit network feegoes to the blockchain Paid by you to the network you send from, exactly like any other transfer out of your wallet. Busy chains cost more; this is the one part nobody controls.
Conversion spreadgoes to the liquidity source The gap between the buy and sell price wherever the swap is filled. It is already inside the number you were quoted.
Payout network feegoes to the blockchain Deducted before your coins are broadcast to the address you gave. Also already reflected in the quote.
Bitzood margingoes to us A small percentage of the swap. It sits inside the figure you see before you commit and is never added on afterwards.
No account or withdrawal fees

There is no account to open, no balance sitting anywhere, and nothing to withdraw — so there is nothing to charge for.

Questions

The ones people actually ask

Short answers to what comes up before a first swap. The longer version of the risk points lives on its own page.

Still unsure about something?

The risk disclosure covers wrong networks, memos, compliance holds and price drift in full detail.

Read the risk disclosure
01 Do I need an account to swap? Account

No. You paste the wallet address you want to be paid at, send your deposit, and the swap runs. Bitzood does not create user accounts and does not hold balances. Liquidity partners may occasionally request verification on transactions their compliance systems flag, which is outside our control.

02 What happens if I send on the wrong network? Networks

Funds sent on a network the deposit address does not support are usually unrecoverable, and this is the single most common way people lose money in self-custody swaps. It is why the picker separates the coin from the chain, shows the name your wallet is likely to use, and warns before you confirm.

03 Why did my final amount differ from the quote? Rates

On a floating rate the amount is calculated when your deposit confirms, so market movement between quoting and confirming changes the result. If you need the number to hold, use a fixed rate instead and accept a slightly wider spread for that certainty.

04 How long does a swap take? Timing

Most settle within five to thirty minutes. The dominant variable is confirmation time on the chain you deposit from, which no exchange controls. Depositing from a fast chain shortens the whole process more than anything else you can change.

05 Can I swap without giving an email address? Privacy

Yes. Nothing on this page asks for one. Keep the swap ID shown after you create an order — it is how you check status later, and we cannot look it up for you from a wallet address alone.

06 Can a swap be cancelled or reversed? Safety

Once a blockchain transaction is broadcast it cannot be recalled by anyone, including us. Before a deposit arrives you can simply walk away and let the order expire; after it arrives, the swap runs to completion or refunds to the address you provided.

If something goes wrong

There is a person at the other end

Bitzood is small, so replies come from someone who can actually look at your order rather than a ticket queue. Most questions are answered within a day.

Include these and it will be quicker

  • Your swap ID — without it an order cannot be found at all
  • The transaction hash of the deposit you sent
  • Which network you sent on, if you are unsure it was right

Worth knowing before you write. A transfer sent on the wrong network, or without a required memo, usually cannot be recovered by anyone — but tell us anyway, because occasionally the liquidity provider can help. If a swap is simply slow, it is almost always waiting on the blockchain, and the FAQ explains what each status means.

Try it with an amount you would not mind losing.

That is honest advice for any exchange you have not used before, including this one. Send something small, watch it land, then decide whether to trust it with more.
